Welcome to MIRA Scan. By downloading, installing,
or using our application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions of
Use, as well as our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the
application.
MIRA Scan is a service by EvalUY that provides
artificial intelligence-based educational tools to help students
with the correction and improvement of their academic work.
Service Description
MIRA Scan offers the following features:

The service operates through a credit system that
is consumed when using AI features.
User Accounts
Registration
To use MIRA Scan you need to create an account via:
- Google Sign-In
- Email and password registration
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
- All activities performed under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
Age Requirements
If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to
use the service. If you are under 13, you need direct parental
supervision.
Credit System and Payments
Obtaining Credits
Credits can be obtained through:
- Daily bonus: Free credits every day

Rewarded ads: Watch ads in exchange for credits

Subscriptions: Monthly plans with included
credits
Credit Consumption
Each AI interaction (analysis, correction, chat) consumes a
determined amount of credits. Rates may vary and will be shown
before each action.
Subscriptions
We offer subscription plans with additional benefits:

MINI Plan: Monthly credits, ad-free, response
priority

PRO Plan: Unlimited credits*, all premium
features
*Subject to fair use policy to maintain service quality.
Non-Refundable Credits
Important: Credits are non-transferable and
non-refundable. Unused credits do not carry over between billing
periods for subscription plans.
Refunds
Subscription purchases are managed through Google Play. Refunds are
subject to the policies of the corresponding app store.
Acceptable Use
By using MIRA Scan, you agree to:
- Use the service only for legitimate educational purposes
- Not upload illegal, offensive, or rights-infringing content
- Not attempt to bypass credit limitations or features
- Not use the service to generate fraudulent content

Not reverse engineer or attempt to access unauthorized systems
- Not abuse the ad or credit system
Academic Honesty: MIRA Scan is designed to help
you learn and improve, not to cheat. Use of corrections should
complement your learning, not replace it.
Content Ownership
Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you upload to
MIRA Scan, including images of assignments, solutions, and academic
work.
User Responsibility: You are solely responsible
for the content you upload, including academic material. Ensure
you have the right to share any content you submit.
License Grant
By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:
- Process and analyze the content to provide the service
- Store it for your access in history

Use it in anonymized and aggregated form to improve our AI models
Our Content
All content generated by MIRA Scan (corrections, feedback,
suggestions) is owned by EvalUY. We grant you a personal,
non-transferable license to use such content for educational
purposes.
Advertising
MIRA Scan displays ads through Google AdMob for
free plan users. Ads may include:
- Banners on certain screens
- Interstitial ads between actions
- Optional rewarded ads
Users with active subscriptions will not see advertising.
Limitations of Liability
Service "As Is"
MIRA Scan is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not
guarantee that:
- The service will be error-free or uninterrupted
- AI corrections will be 100% accurate
- The service will meet all your expectations
Educational Purposes
Important: MIRA Scan's corrections and
suggestions are indicative and for educational purposes only. They
do not replace teacher evaluation nor constitute professional
academic advice.
Limitation of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EvalUY shall not be liable
for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising
from use of the service.
Suspension and Termination
By the User
You may stop using MIRA Scan at any time and request deletion of
your account.
By EvalUY
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if:
- You violate these terms of use
- You engage in fraudulent or abusive activities
- You use the service in a way that harms other users
- You attempt to manipulate the credit or ad system
In case of serious violations, suspension may be immediate and
without prior notice.
Service Availability
We strive to keep MIRA Scan available, but:
- We may perform scheduled maintenance
- Unplanned interruptions may occur
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features
We will notify significant changes with reasonable advance notice
when possible.
Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use periodically. Changes will take
effect when published on this page.
For substantial changes, we will notify you through the app or via
email.
Continued use of the service after modifications implies your
acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the
laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, without prejudice to
consumer protection regulations that may apply in your jurisdiction.
